Join us for a 6 night restorative and playful yoga, mindful art + nature retreat in the beautiful Portuguese countryside.

Our venue is Cocoon, a 275 acre coastal farm in Alentejo, surrounded by nature, just 10 mins from the Alentejo’s beautiful coastline and the beautiful village of Vila Nova De Milfontes. 

Our retreats offer a peaceful, welcoming space where you are free to let go of judgement and expectations and connect with the inner child and creative that lives inside us all!

Meet your hosts—

Emma + Caroline

You will be hosted by Emma, a Manchester based yoga teacher and Caroline, a multi-disciplinary artist.

Together, they have hosted a series of events, workshops and retreats, celebrating movement, art and community. They both are advocates for the healing power of yoga and creativity and believe that the healing is in the process, not the outcome.

Where you’ll be staying—

Cocoon - Alentejo, Portugal

Nestled in the countryside just 10 minutes from the stunning coastline of Alentejo, our venue Cocoon eco retreat + farm is set in 275 acres of land to explore!

There are double (single occupancy) and twin + triple sharing room options available, starting from £855 for a triple room.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.

What’s Included —

  • Single occupancy double rooms or twin + triple sharing options. Most rooms have an outdoor terrace and en-suite bathroom.

  • Practices will include vinyasa, yin, somatic movement, restorative as well as nature inspired meditation, self massage, pranayama (breathwork) and yoga nidra.

    There are two beautiful shalas, one indoor and one outdoors under the pine trees.

    Mats, bolsters and all props are included.

  • Caroline will guide you through daily mindful art practices, inspired by the nature around us.

    We will use different materials (including some that we will forage!) to explore our inner creativity, leaving expectation at the door.

  • Family-style shared meals cooked by Cocoon’s on-site chefs with seasonal, local produce.

  • +sun-loungers for relaxing!

  • There will be an arranged trip, but you can also visit one of the many beautiful local beaches in your free time!

  • +onsite animals to interact with!

  • Cocoon has many hammocks to relax in!

FAQs

  • Yes! Many of our guests come alone, it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, or to spend some time alone. We create a whatsapp chat so you can connect with other attendees ahead of the retreat!

  • Of course! We welcome (encourage!) beginners to come along. The practices will be beginner friendly and all sessions are optional.

  • Yes! All yoga equipment and art materials are provided. You may even get some to take home!

  • Cocoon is around 2.5 hours from Lisbon and 2 hours from Faro. If you drive, hiring a car is the best option from either airport. If you don’t drive/would prefer not to, we can help you connect with others to arrange lift shares/taxi shares. A taxi would be around 30EURpp each way.

  • Check in is from 5pm on 3rd April, check out is 10am on 9th.

  • We have single, twin or triple room options.

    We can happily match you up with others who are also looking to share a room, many attendees prefer this option.

  • All food at Cocoon is vegetarian. They can cater for a vegan and gluten free diet and most common food allergies. Please advise at the time of booking if you have any specific requirements and we will try our best to accommodate.
